If you're a Democrat, you claim national debt has decreased under Biden, neglecting to mention that while debt to GDP has decreased slightly, overall national debt is at its highest ever level and the US economy is still firmly on the tracks to Destination F**ked unless something drastic is done. No meaningful action will be taken because:
1) No politician has the balls, stomach, integrity and competence do what needs to be done;
2) Economic crises are welcomed by the billionaire parasite class, who go on a shopping spree when everyone else is in panic mode. Had no choice? Sheldon Adelson was a very wealthy and powerful man. He had the choice to stay the hell out of US politics and not interfere but was driven by his pro-Israel ideology.
As for Ross being a wonderful commerce secretary, a few quick points-
-Trump is not the gifted economic manager people make him out to be. He's an overconfident clown with 6 major bankruptcies to his name and he narrowly escaped a $4 billion wipeout in 1990. If his father wasn't a wealthy man, Trump would probably be selling used cars or stocking supermarket shelves. He's a New York socialite whose image as a competent businessman was resurrected by a reality TV show and a series of self-aggrandizing books that don't even begin to reveal the real truth.

-The US economy runs in boom-bust cycles. Obama enjoyed the bounce back from the 2008 GFC, and Trump et al continued to ride the wave. It wasn't gifted management, it was luck.
-The African-American unemployment rate was on a steady downward trajectory from 2011 (under Obama) and continued a similar trajectory under Trump, excepting the major upward spike during the 2020 COVID scam. See for yourself here:

-National debt continued to spiral to record levels under Trump, despite having Mr Bankruptcy Specialist (Ross) on his team. Unless reigned in soon, this unsustainable level of debt is going to have MAJOR repercussions for Americans and the world.
People interpret the facts to suit their own biases. If you're Republican, you point out 'improvements' under Trump that were in fact a continuation of the pre-existing trend. You neglect to mention that national debt continued to balloon to absurd levels. If you're a Democrat, you claim national debt has decreased under Biden, neglecting to mention that while debt to GDP has decreased slightly, overall national debt is at its highest ever level and the US economy is still firmly on the tracks to Destination F**ked unless something drastic is done. No meaningful action will be taken because:
1) No politician has the balls, stomach, integrity and competence do what needs to be done;
2) Economic crises are welcomed by the billionaire parasite class, who go on a shopping spree when everyone else is in panic mode. "Buy when there's blood in the streets" as Baron Rothschild is reported to have said. This is how they got richer during COVID, and why the top 1% steadily assume a greater portion of the world's wealth over time.

Hi Isabel, I think one has to find a healthy balance between staying informed and switching off when necessary. Things certainly won't change while so many people keep their head in the sand.
