Okay. This “spiritual warfare” has been going on for millennia. What’s the purpose of it — from when it first started until the end of the world, i.e. the destruction of the wicked in the lake of fire and brimstone aka the second death? Maybe the end purpose of this warfare is so that the souls of men and women and boys and girls can be made aware of our evil natures and repent and be saved in the (not of this world) kingdom of GOD’s highest heaven. Haven’t billions of souls already been saved? I’d think that heaven is full enough by now for the war to end.
Ok, just saw this comment. There's a season and a timing to things done in the interest of the Kingdom of God. If you want the answer to your question, you will have to read and study the Apostle Paul's epistles to the Gentiles, Romans through Philemon. Don't rely on the opinions of others. Study it for yourself. You obviously have not done so or you would not be asking.
The apostle Paul/Saul really didn’t write all that much about (1) spiritual warfare and (2) what the purpose of spiritual warfare is for and (3) why spiritual warfare has had to go on now for close to two thousand years and (4) for how long this spiritual warfare is supposed to continue. Don’t worry about me “relying on the opinions of others”. I ask questions about this stuff in order to get the opinions of others, not to accept their opinions as truthful answers 💯 percent in harmony with scripture.
How can you be in harmony with scripture if you have to ask those questions... Spiritual warfare was noticeable for me even before I started reading God's word... The Bible as important as it is isn't the deciding factor, it's Christ, talking to Him, getting to understand what he really wants from us.
