Standard trick: bait you to take drugs to help you with a big problem that the drug & food companies gave you to begin with, then those drugs give you other problems that will require you pay more $ and get more treatments that make you circle the bye-bye drain.

I’m continually amazed at how even people that are typically critical of pharma innovations seem eager to worship Ozempic as one of the extremely few times “they” actually got it right. I suppose the lure of effortless weight loss can impede logical thinking.

Wow, great article and thoroughly researched! I wrote on these drugs last year and briefly touched on the suicidal thoughts (https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/the-hidden-struggle-in-health-care), but the insight on the TriNetX group is golden!

Sad that people still flock to these drugs when there’s much more effective ways to lose weight as I touch on in my piece.

Great article as always! And you always get 17x feedback in my eyes 😄

I had a colleague some time ago, a severely overweight woman of 22. Another colleague and me used to talk a lot about diet, intermittent fasting, ketogenic diet etc and we tried to advise her on her weight loss struggle (because she was complaining about spots on the liver/being pre-diabetic etc). She would just disregard it, make a silly excuse why she could not do these things and then one day, she came to the office, all proud, telling us about this drug she was taking and that it was so great. She only had some issues with dizziness and feeling like she wanted to throw up, but she was losing weight! Hooraaay! Poor girl, I feel bad for her, thinking about all the health problems she will have in future.

Mr. Colpo, it has been a while my friend, and I see you are still the canary in the proverbial coal mine. Those of you who are new to Anthony's writings, only need to go back "18 YEARS" to his "The Great Cholesterol Con" that blew the lid off of statins and the harm they cause! He's been consistent with all of the "controversial" medical/health issues he's written about from lowcarb diets to COVID jabs and now these idiotic "weight loss/diabetic" drugs. For fear of sounding like a "fanboy", I have to say that I've followed this bloke for two decades now, and his approach is the same: follow the science AND the money that pays for it!". Cheers to you mate, keep giving those BIGPHARMA bastards hell!!

Terrific analysis as always Anthony. Just before reading this I saw a report on an Aussie "influencer" who strenuously pushed the vaxx on her followers and recently died of myocarditis. It's astounding that the gullible guppies who swallow anything online don't seem to understand that their idols are being paid to shill for pharma, be it the vaxx or a weight loss drug.

I'm not trying to downgrade any part of this report, Anthony, by stating firmly that

"Stop Listening to Clueless Wankers"

would have to be my very favourite heading - so far ! - in all researched articles. :D

And what drives this? Money, of course. If there was no need for money to live richly, none of Us would be pumping out harmful crap and lies. We would become poor in reputation, and might even have Ethical consequences meted for Our unEthical behaviors.
